Dominica citizenship by investment programme revisited
Established by law in 1993, Dominica’s citizenship by investment programme is considered to be one of the most affordable programmes in the Caribbean.
The Citizenship by Investment Programme is detailed in Sections 8 and 20(1) of the Commonwealth of Dominica Citizenship Act and in the Commonwealth of Dominica Citizenship by Investment Regulations, 2014. The Citizenship by Investment Unit (CBIU), which processes all applications under the Programme, was formed pursuant to Regulation No. 3.
The highly reputable Citizenship by Investment Programme in Dominica invites investors of good character to make an economic contribution to Dominica and in exchange, the applicant and their family are eligible to obtain full citizenship of the country, within the strict guidelines of the law.
To qualify for citizenship of the Commonwealth of Dominica the primary applicant must be over 18 years old, meet the application requirements and select one of the following investment options:
A contribution made into the Government Fund amounting to USD 100,000 depending on the number of dependents included in the application;
An investment in designated Real Estate with a value of at least USD 200,000.

All family members can apply under one application. Dominica has the only programme in the Caribbean to recognize children up to 28 years old of age and parents of the applicants with over 55 years of age who are fully supported by the main applicant
Dominica has one of the most affordable legal Citizenship by Investment programmes
A Dominica passport allows visa free travel to more than 100 countries, including all EU countries, the UK, Ireland, Caribbean and Commonwealth Nations, Hong Kong and Singapore
Full citizenships are received by the applicant and his family, which can also be passed onto descendants
Dominica does not impose any tax on income, wealth or inheritance
